Bandung, December 29, 2022 – PT Hartadinata Abadi Tbk (HRTA), an integrated gold jewelry manufacturer in Indonesia, signed a syndicated financing agreement worth Rp2.4 trillion with PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) in Jakarta on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. BBNI serves as the Mandated Lead Arranger & Bookrunner (MLAB) in collaboration with other banks.
The funds from this agreement will be used by the company for additional working capital with the aim of improving the company's operational performance. The syndicated financing facility has a tenure ranging from 12 months to 48 months with an interest rate of JIBOR 1 month + 3% per annum. This interest rate is lower compared to the average interest expense from the company's existing bank credit facilities and bonds.
Sandra Sunanto, the CEO of HRTA, explained that the syndicated financing is evidence of the trust placed by major financial institutions in Indonesia in the company's growth prospects. This achievement marks an important milestone in enhancing HRTA's corporate image, allowing it to elevate its status to an international-scale company in the future. Sandra is optimistic that support from syndicated financing will further boost business growth in 2023, despite uncertainties such as economic crises and geopolitical challenges.
With the strategic achievements made by the company, HRTA has now solidified its position as the most integrated gold jewelry and pure gold company in Indonesia, spanning from the midstream to downstream industries.
